First Lieutenant Robert White Greer is a character mentioned in several Ryanverse novels. He is the son, and only child, of Vice Admiral James Greer.
Biography
Following the example of his father’s military service, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Deployed to Vietnam, he was killed 50 miles south of Da Nang. As a result of this, his mother divorced Admiral Greer.

In Clear and Present Danger, it is mentioned that shortly after the funeral of Lt. Greer, Admiral Greer arranged to be buried by the side of his son.
