Major Al Wallace is a character that appears in the novel, Without Remorse.
Biography
Al Wallace was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Not much is known about his history except that he became good friends with Robin Zacharias who was also from Salt Lake City. At some point he joined the U.S. Air Force and became a pilot, eventually rising to the rank of Major. While serving in the Vietnam War, his plane was shot down. Wallace survived the crash but was captured and held in a detention center. Officially, the North Vietnamese declared him to be deceased.
