3 Basque terrorists used them to hijack United Flight 920 to kidnap the Spanish Ambassador. They failed, as not only was their target not on the plane, but they were defeated by John Clark, Domingo Chavez, and Alistair Stanley before they fired a shot. At least one was emptied and field-stripped by John in only 2 seconds.
