The Czech Model 58 is a weapon in the Ryanverse.
Background
The Czech Model 58 was manufactured by the Uhersky Broad works in Czechoslovakia. They gave away a lot of them. It was also known as the M-58.
Characteristics
It is a compact assault rifle, only 25 inches long, firing 7.62/39 Soviet cartridges. They were fully automatic with a selector switch. They were far worse than weapons issued to Swiss citizen-soldiers, however.
History
Rainbow Six
Ernst Model and his crew used 4 of these weapons when they attacked a Swiss Bank. Eddie Price noted it was a very odd choice of weapon for a Swiss bank robber to use.
