Colonel Walters had just been assigned to the JSF's 22nd Tactical Battalion and was awaiting deployment to Europe when Falkensberg's legion struck New York City. As part of 1st Troop, the Saber Hawks, Walters flew combat support missions in New Jersey and New York, eventually taking part in the counteroffensive that recaptured Manhattan and drove Falkenberg's battered units back into New England. Now stationed near Norfolk, the Saber Hawk's AH-80 gunships still have large stores of depleted uranium ammunition for their cannons, making them exceptionally effective against armored targets.
