Colonel Fyodor Savilov of the 8th Mechanized Spetsnaz has a fondness for Cockroach IFVs and combat engineers and uses both aggressively. He signed up with the Russian Naval Infantry in 1995 and eventually became a member of the Russian Naval Spetsnaz. He served in Chechnya and Lebanon and spent six years as a commander of team "Alfa" before entering the higher echelons of GRU, Russia's largest intelligence agency. His background makes him a feared leader even among his own men.
