Endwar:MR-C

The MR-C (Modular Rifle - Caseless) is a select fire rifle featured in the EndWar novel. It fires caseless 6.8mm rounds at up to nine hundred rounds per minute. In addition, it possesses mounting rails, allowing it to accommodate 40mm grenade launchers. In the novel it is used by Sergeant Scott Rule and Lance Corporal Friskis.

It is likely based off of the real life MR-C, a mockup weapon for the US military designed in the mid-2000s which never advanced beyond the design phase.
