Gloria Vega is a character that appears in the novel, Against All Enemies.
Biography
In 2008, Vega, a CIA agent, was embedded with the Mexican Federal Police as inspector. She was later assigned as a member of Task Force Juarez. The purpose of the joint task force was to bring down the Juarez drug cartel in Mexico and Colombia. This involved playing them off against the rival Sinaloa cartel by discreetly helping the latter.
