Captain Harrison Sharpe "Harry" Ricks is a character that appears in the novel, The Sum of All Fears. In 1991, he succeeded Captain James Rosselli as the commanding officer of the Gold Crew of the USS Maine. Ricks later died from an explosion from a torpedo launched in self-defense by the Soviet nuclear-powered attack submarine, Admiral Lunin.
