James Earl Jones (born January 17, 1931) is an American actor. He is best known as the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise and has appeared in hundreds of projects over his long career spanning more than seven decades.
Jones portrays James Greer in the films The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger. He is the only actor to have appeared in all three films.
