Johnny Doyle is a character that appears in the novel, Patriot Games
Biography
Doyle was the head of the PIRA in the 1980s. He is only referenced by Shamus Connolly during a meeting with Kevin O'Donnell. He is referenced again as part of the meeting of the PIRA leadership that Connolly is supposed to strike. It is unknown what happens to him, but it is likely that he was killed with the rest of the IRA leadership.
