Jordi Mollà
Jordi Mollà i Perales (born July 1, 1968) is a Spanish actor, artist, writer, and filmmaker. He plays Nicolás Reyes in Season 2 of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.
Biography
Born in Hospitalet de Llobregat, he studied at the Barcelona Theater Institute. After some television appearances and plays at the Lliure Theater, he made his film debut with "Jamón, jamón" in 1992.
During the filming of the movie "Blow" (2001) he struck up a good friendship, which still lasts, with the actor Johnny Depp. He has been nominated 5 times for the Goya, one for the best short film, another for the best supporting actor, and three more for the best leading actor, having not yet achieved the award.
In 2002 he released his first film as a director, "We are nobody." That same year, George Lucas offered to participate as a supporting character in his movie "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones", but he declined.
In 2006 he played Paco Ariza in the movie "GAL". In 2007 he played the King of Spain Felipe II in "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" (2007), and in 2010 he played the poet Jaime Gil de Biedma in the film "The Consul of Sodoma", directed by Sigfrid Monleón . In the last ten years he has participated in several North American productions.
He has interpreted films in Catalan, Spanish, Italian, French and English without dubbing.
In addition, Mollá is a renowned writer, film director, and painter. In the months of September and October 2004, PicassoMio held a solo exhibition of Mollà at the art gallery PicassoMio Gallery , in Madrid. He has written two best-selling books, "The First Times" and "Stagnant Water." And he has directed two short films Walter Peralta (for which he was nominated for a Goya) and I would not mind going with you and two feature films We are nobody and 88 .
Since 2008 he has worked with the Eva Ruiz Gallery (Madrid), in which he has held various group exhibitions and one individual
