Noèlia Aleixandri is a character that appears in the novel, Firing Point.
Biography
Aleixandri was born in a small town in the Pyrenees mountain range of Spain. She had been a journalism major at the Universitat de Vic until she dropped out in 2009. She had been a student activist involved with independence movement in Spain but was never violent nor was she ever arrested for anything criminal. At some point, she joined Brigada Catalan. On October 24, 2011, she was killed in the explosion at a restaurant called L'avi in Barcelona while speaking to someone on a bluetooth mic. Due to her connections with Brigada Catalan, she was subsequently blamed for the bombing in the news.
