North Korea, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK or DPR Korea; is a country in East Asia constituting the northern part of the Korean Peninsula.

North Korea plays a prominante role in several novels of the Ryanverse.

Trivia

• In Debt of Honor, the book states that at some point between 1990 and 1996, North and South Korea were unified. The unification of both countries is disregarded in later novels.
