Patricia Kelly
Patricia "Tish" Kelly is a character that appears in the novel, Without Remorse.
Biography
Patricia Kelly was the first wife of John Kelly, whom she had married in the late 1960s. A year and a half after their marriage, the couple had learned that she was pregnant. In autumn 1970, Patricia was three months pregnant and out shopping at mother and child stores while John was performing a maritime demolition of an oil-rig that had been damaged by Hurricane Camille. While driving to pick him up after the job, she was involved in a serious traffic accident. The brakes of a truck failed and Patricia’s Plymouth station wagon was run over by its heavy weight at an intersection, killing her instantly. Her body was later identified by her husband. Her death deeply affected John who had become an alcoholic and loner. John later remarried and changed his name to John Clark. He named his second daughter, Patricia Clark after his first wife.
