Peter Beltz is a character set to appear in the novel, Shadow of the Dragon. In 2011, he was the lead of a CIA mission in Israel.

Biography

Peter Beltz is an old friend of Domingo Chavez, having served with him in the U.S. Army. In 2010, Beltz was transfered to the CIA which allowed him an opportunity to catch up with Chavez. Eighteen months later in 2011, Beltz was put in charge of a simple mission in Israel. Chavez volunteered to join Beltz in the mission but was forced to cancel at the last minute, sending Jack Ryan, Jr. to join Beltz in his place.
