Pierre Lamarck
Pierre Lamarck is a character that appears in the novel, Without Remorse.
Biography
Pierre Lamarck was a pimp operating out of New Orleans. At one point, he encountered Pam Madden who had just arrived at the city. He then offered the oblivious girl food and shelter which she accepted. After three days, Lamarck manipulated her into giving up her virginity by sleeping with him. A week after that, Lamarck slapped her across the face and coerced her into sleeping with another man for an entire night for two hundred and fifty dollars. The day after that, Pam had emptied one of Lamarck's pill containers in a suicide attempt but only managed to vomit it back out and was severely beaten by Lamarck afterward. Pam worked as a prostitute for Lamarck for the next three years until she ran away.
Following Pam's murder in 1970, Lamarck was sought out by her boyfriend, John Kelly, who killed him for his role in Pam's life.
