ATX is a terrorist organization that appears in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Take-Down – Missions in Korea.

History

ATX is a Palestinian terrorist organization led by Hamad. By 2003, the organization had suffered from financial problems after losing support from the Syrian and Iranian governments. As a result, Hamad agrees to lend members of ATX to Ikeshita-gumi, Japan's largest Yakuza organization. Ten days later, they deploy to South Korea along with Ikeshita-gumi second-in-command Takao, Sasamoto, and one hundred other hitmen.

ATX captures Colonel Smith of the USFK and several other South Koreans at Doosan Tower in Seoul. As a result, Rainbow is summoned to handle the situation and conduct joint operations with the Special Response Team. Rainbow later reveals the connection between Ikeshita-gumi and ATX from intelligence founded in Ikeshita-gumi's hideout in South Korea. Colonel Smith is later discovered, locked up in a hideout and under guard with some ATX members.

Remnants of ATX and Hamad cause another incident in COEX using a stolen identity from already murdered employees of United Medicine Company. After ATX and Hamad have been neutralized, John Clark decides to remain in South Korea until the Ikeshita-gumi's terror threat has been completely removed.
