The Taurus Judge is a five shot revolver designed and produced by Taurus International, chambered for .410 bore shotshells and the .45 Colt cartridge.

It is featured in several installments in the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Franchise and is designated as the Bailiff 410.

Siege

"This .410 bore shotgun in a revolver package is a dual-caliber gun designed with a compact polymer body. It does medium damage with minimal spread."
— In-game description

The Bailiff 410 is a handgun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It was introduced in the Operation Para Bellum expansion and is available for use by both GIS Operators, Oryx, Doc, Grim and Fenrir. It features a permanently-attached red dot sight.

Overview

The Bailiff 410 utilizes its .410 shotshells to a great extent, functioning similarly to normal shotguns. However, it has only half the amount of buckshot than a regular 12-gauge in-game. This means that while it will still kill a Light Armored Operator with a single shot at point-blank, it won't kill a Medium or Heavy Armored Operator, down them, with a single shot, requiring an additional one, especially if not all four shots connect.

Pros

  • Utility use
  • Integrated red dot sight
  • Tight hipfire spread
  • Fast firing speed

Cons

  • Low damage per pellet
  • Slow reload time
  • Low magazine capacity

Trivia

  • A bailiff is a sheriff's officer who executes writs and processes and carries out distraints and arrests, functionally similar to a modern judge, hence the revolver's change of name.
  • The Bailiff 410 is specifically based on the Taurus 4510PLYFS revolver, which is often confused with the Taurus Judge due to its "Judge" trademarks.
  • The revolver actually has separate animations for tactical and dry reloads, despite not needing to do so. When partially empty, the user flicks the cylinder shut after reloading, while when completely empty, they close and spin the cylinder it with their left hand.
