Biography

Rick Sands is a former U.S. Army Ranger, 75th Ranger Regiment. In 2011, he met Jack Ryan, Jr. while in Peru. Sands then accompanied Ryan in stopping an illegal mining operation led by the brother of French drug smuggler named Mathieu Cluzet. The pair then rescue the local miners who had been taken against their will.
