Aida Curić
Aida Curić is a character that appears in the novel, Line of Sight.
Biography
Aida, a Bosnian Muslim who escaped from her country during the Bosnian War. Having been blinded as a result of the war. She was later cured by Dr. Cathy Ryan who performed eye surgery on her in 1986. Unfortunately, Aida returned to Bosnia after her surgery and was killed. To make matters worse, the rest of her family was murdered by Bosnian mafia local head and Interpol fugitive Samir Kvržić. Wanting to change identities, Samir took the identity of Aida's father while his daughter Sabina Kvržić took Aida's identity. Additionally, Samir kept running the Curić family's tour service but also used it to smuggle drugs, guns, and fugitives into the Balkans.
