James Dolan
James Dolan is a character that appears in the Eagle Watch expansion of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six.
Biography
James Dolan is a former Green Beret of the U.S. Army Special Forces. He later obtained a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and an M.I.A. from the School of International Affairs at Columbia University. Dolan later worked as a consultant in Japan and parts of central Asia. He retired after three successful years identifying and tracking terrorist organizations and materials.
Afterwards, Dolan served as Special Assistant to the Senior Director for Intelligence Programs at the National Security Council. While at the NSC, he coordinated Presidential decision directives on "Intelligence Priorities in Asia", "U.S. Counterintelligence Effectiveness", and "Euro-Asian Technology and Weapons of Mass Destruction". He also was responsible for coordinating all interagency activities concerning Pacific Rim covert action. In this capacity he was responsible for the strengthening of covert action reporting requirements, the creation of a statutory Inspector General at the CIA, and the introduction of comprehensive legislation to reorganize U.S. intelligence. He currently works as a CIA Counter-Terrorist Advisor.
Eagle Watch
On April 14th, 2001, the Red Sun Brigade assaulted the U.S. Capitol and took a U.S. Senator hostage. Dolan, who was familiar with the group, was brought in as an advisor to Rainbow during a rescue operation. Dolan informed Rainbow that the CIA had been tracking the group for months and that the CIA was surprised that the Red Sun Brigade had the firepower to even assault the Capitol building.
