Alpha Team is a Rainbow fireteam featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Franchise.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas

Ding Chavez is called upon to resolve a hostage crisis in the French Pyrénées. While Bishop takes command of Bravo Team, Ding leads Alpha Team through the complex. They occasionally cross Bravo's way, the first time when Bravo kills snipers threatening Alpha's entrance, and the second when Alpha kills guards about to fire on a rappelling Bravo Team en route to the roofs.

As the negotiations take place, Gabriel Nowak of Bravo Team fires prematurely on the terrorists before Alpha can get into position. As the situation is over when Alpha reaches the room, the team continues to the last occupied part of the complex, coming opposite to Bravo's way. When Nowak is wounded by a terrorist counterattack, Alpha hears the gunfire and rushes the room, ending up killing the remaining terrorists and saving Nowak.

Throughout the level they use suppressed MP5Ns to wipe out terrorists. Strangely, this Alpha team sports AK-47s (a terrorist favourite) as their secondary weapons and does not have a machine gunner. They wear the "Snow" camouflage, consisting of white clothes with black stains.

In 2009, Ding Chavez leads Alpha Team into action against the GLF and prevents the use of their WMD.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

Alpha team in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 consists of former Bravo teammates Logan Keller and Gabriel Nowak, plus Kan Akahashi as a heavy weapons specialist. They investigate in a small Mexican Village, searching for Irena Morales, when they are ambushed. During the fighting, Nowak and Akahashi are captured by the mercenaries and Logan escapes with the help of Joanna Torres and Brody Lukin, intel officer and helicpoter pilot for Bravo Team respectively.

Afterwards, Logan assumes command of Bravo Team for a while; Kan is killed by terrorists and Gabriel is revealed to be a traitor, collaborating with Irena Morales and the Cabrero Brothers. Logan is last seen commanding Charlie Team and Gabriel ends up killed by his former instructor, Bishop.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard has Alpha Team consist of Captain Federico Gonzalez, and Sergeants Paul Akindele and Hae Jun Kim. Under the leadership of Acting Six James Danko, they stop a plot by the Phoenix Group to release the Ebola virus.
