"The Archer" is a character that appears in the novel, The Cardinal of the Kremlin.
Biography
The Archer is a former mathematics teacher of Afghan descent who becomes an guerrilla leader after losing his family in a Soviet airstrike. He got his name from being an expert with the Soviet SA-7 and the American Stinger surface-to-air missiles.
