Biography

The Cardinal of the Kremlin

She and her husband Ed Foley were CIA case officers in Moscow, USSR, the early 1980's. Mary Pat covertly ran several Soviet national agents and aided in the defection of several high placed agents. They returned to the U.S. after The Cardinal of the Kremlin.

Clear and Present Danger

Mary Pat became the Deputy Director of Operations for the CIA. She directed several covert operations for John Clark and Domingo Chavez.

Threat Vector

During Jack Ryan, Sr.'s second elected term as president, Mary Pat is the Director of the CIA. She is aware of the black side operations of The Campus and uses it when necessary to accomplish missions where CIA assets are lacking. She is later appointed the Director of National Intelligence.
