Miguel Chin
Master Chief Miguel "Mike" Chin is a character that appears in Rainbow Six.
Biography
Chin is the son of a Latino mother and a Chinese father. He grew up in East Los Angeles, a few block away from Domingo Chavez's childhood home. In his youth, Chin was a member of the local Piscadores. Chin was eventually arrested for an unknown incident and given an ultimatum by a judge: enlist or go to jail. Chin chose the latter and attempted to enlist in the US Marine Corps but was denied. He tried again by enlisting in the US Navy and became a machinist.
Chin later joined the Navy SEALs and was assigned to the Norfolk-based SEAL Team Six. By 1999, Chin had risen to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer as a Machinist's Mate. He also obtained a Bachelors in Psychology from Old Dominion University. With the formation of Rainbow, Chin was transferred to the new unit and was placed on Team 1 under Major Peter Covington.
