Chuck Ussery
Special Agent Chuck Ussery is a character that appears in the novel, Rainbow Six. He is the Assistant Special Agent In Charge of the FBI field office in Gary, Indiana.
Biography
Chuck is a former police officer with the Chicago Police Department. In 1982, he left the police department to join the FBI. In 1999, Chuck transferred to the field office in Gary, Indiana as the Assistant Special Agent In Charge. A few months later, a call from Skip Bannister concerning the disappearance of his daughter Mary Bannister was routed to Chuck. Chuck told Skip to meet him at his office at once and arrived there twenty-five minutes later. Skip answered several questions from Chuck and showed him the email he had received from Mary. Chuck's first impression was that Mary had written the email under the influence of drugs. Skip told Chuck that she would never do any drugs, causing Chuck to draw the conclusion that she had been kidnapped. Chuck told Skip that Mary's case would be treated as a kidnapping investigation and would be their top priority. Chuck then called in Supervisory Special Agent Patrick O'Connor and explained the situation, telling O'Connor that he would be leading the case. Skip then followed O'Connor out of Chuck's office to answer additional questions.
