Pam Lathrop is a character that appears in the film, The Sum of All Fears.
Biography
In September 2002, Pam Lathrop accompanied DCI William Cabot and Jack Ryan to Moscow, Russia to inspect the top Russian nuclear weapons facility, in compliance with the START treaty. Before they traveled to the facility, Pam and the others met with the new Russian President Alexander Nemerov who threatened action against the United States should they interfere in the war in Chechnya. Afterwards, they traveled to the weapons facility and discovered that three nuclear weapons scientists were missing and that the Russian Government did not know their whereabouts.
