William Cabot is a character that appears in the film, The Sum of All Fears. He served as the DCI under President Robert Fowler's administration.

Biography

In 2002, Cabot was the Director of Central Intelligence under President Robert Fowler. He was later killed by the nuclear strike at Super Bowl XXXVI in Baltimore.

Trivia

• Cabot is a far different character from his literary counterpart, serving a similar role to James Greer as a mentor for Jack Ryan, though Cabot does play a prank on Ryan at one point by tricking him into making Cathy Mueller believe he is lying to her.
