Prime Minister Mogataru Koga is a character that appears in the novel, Debt of Honor.
Biography
In 1995, Koga was the Prime Minister of Japan. He later resigned in disgrace due to his country's economic situation. This paved the way for Hiroshi Goto to suceed him as Prime Minister. He later became a bargaining chip in the diplomatic negotiations as a potential opposition leader to Goto. In an effort to silence him, Raizo Yamata ordered his men to silence Koga. Luckily, John Clark and Domingo Chavez managed to rescue him. Following the end of the war between Japan and the United States and Goto's resignation, Koga resumed his position as Prime Minister.
