Biography
In 2013, Katya worked as the assistant to Russian business tycoon Viktor Cherevin. When undercover CIA agent Jack Ryan arrived in Moscow at Cherevin's office, Katya met Ryan to escort him to Cherevin's office. On the way there, Ryan noted Katya's use of a keycard in order to gain access to the office. This prompted a CIA agent to later pickpocket Cherevin's keycard from him while he was attending dinner with Ryan and his fiancee Cathy Muller. As Ryan was making his way to Cherevin's office, he noticed Katya leaving the building for the night and quickly hid before she could notice him. Despite this, Ryan triggered a security breach while he was downloading Cherevin's files to a USB. The breach alerted Katya and Cherevin's head of security, Dimitri Lemkov. Both returned to Cherevin's office but did not find anyone as Ryan had escaped the office by taking Cherevin's personal elevator.
