The Borovskys
Mr. and Mrs. Borovsky are characters that appear in the 2014 film, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. They are portrayed by Bogdan Kominowski and Maggie Daniels.
Biography
In 2000, the Borvoskys were planted in the United States as Russian sleeper agents. They fostered Viktor Cherevin's eight year old son, Aleksandr Cherevin, whose death was faked. His last name was also changed to Borovsky. For the next thirteen years, the Borvoskys raised Alexsandr in Michigan and trained him in espionage. To the public, the Borvoskys lived normal lives and regularly attended a Russian Orthodox Church.
In 2013, they were activated by Cherevin to commit a terrorist attack to destroy Wall Street. Cherevin had intended to have the attack followed by the collapse of the global economy after Cherevin sold billions of stocks that he had used to prop up the Chinese and Japanese economies over the years. Unfortunately for the Borvoskys, however, Aleksandr saw both of them as loose ends and killed them as they were disposing of any evidence that connected them to Russia. Aleksandr then departed to his hideout at Mikhail Yureyovich's farm in Pennsylvania to dress up a fake police response vehicle. Aleksandr's attack was ultimately foiled by CIA analyst Jack Ryan.
