David Askenazi is a character that appears in the novel, The Sum of All Fears.
Biography
In 1991, Askenazi served as the Prime Minister of Israel. His planned bid to have Defense Minister Rafi Mandel as his successor led Mandel to approve DDCI Jack Ryan's Middle Eastern treaty.
