Colonel Alistair Stanley was the Second-in-Command of Rainbow under John Clark, giving him the codename "Rainbow Five". Originally a Major in the 22nd Regiment of the SAS, he along with Domingo Chavez and John Clark defused a terrorist situation aboard a jet liner before Rainbow had even set up.
